Many inhabitants of our border region are crossing the national borders every day to go to school, university or work. These encounters are being facilitated by projects the Interreg Euregio Meuse-Rhine programme is funding, among others through the People to People project. This project is funding small-scale initiatives, so-called People to People activities. New People to People funds are now available!
The Interreg EMR programme has decided to continue its support of such small-scale initiatives, which means that the Euregio Meuse-Rhine Foundation could open a first additional call. The Euregio Meuse-Rhine Foundation opened the call for initiatives in the following fields:
- Culture,
- Labour market, education, and youth,
- Citizen participation and public service,
- Tourism and recreation,
- Nature and the environment
- Sport and health
The initiatives can be organised between citizens, visitors, private organizations, NGOs, and public entities. Further information can be found on the website of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. The first call is still open until the end of September.
Overall, the follow-up People to People project of the Stichting Euregio Meuse-Rhine will run until the end of 2023.
