Our Interrreg Euregio Meuse-Rhine project AACOMA is working on innovative material design and advanced manufacturing which provide huge opportunities for SMEs. During their kick-off event, they will introduce the opportunities that new materials such as composites offer to a wide array of sectors like transportation, especially automotive, building and infrastructure, consumer products, and the machine tool industry.
Composite materials can be manufactured into almost any shape, allowing great design flexibility. The opportunity to select the constituents and tailoring them to obtain the required properties make them very attractive to many industries. Safer, lighter, and environmentally friendly through material savings and the use of biobased materials leads to reductions in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

AACOMA is a 3-year longing Interreg-funded cross-border project in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and is carried out by seven partners: Centexbel (B), University of Liège (B), Sirris (B), Flanders Make (B), AMIBM of Maastricht University (NL), Fontys University of Applied Sciences (NL) and AMAC (D).
Companies and institutes can benefit from the networking activities organized during virtual or live Roadshows, be a member of the advisory committee or participate in training, or follow-up workshops on composite demonstrators shown by project partners. We invite you to join this free-of-charge kick-off webinar and to follow keynote speakers in the field of composites in various sectors.
