This week, Interreg Euregio Meuse-Rhine’s Monitoring Committee selected 6 new projects. The new projects are expected to start early 2020.
The selection of the projects concludes Call 5 which was opened in October 2018. The fifth call made funds available for innovation, economy, and education and social inclusion. Close to EUR 16,3 million of means from the European Regional Development Fund has been allocated to the 6 new projects.
From the 6 newly selected projects, 3 address the the priority investment innovation. These are E-TEST, AACoMa and GYM-Generate Your Muscle. A total of EUR 11.888.210 from the European Regional Development Fund was allocated to them. The other 3 projects - DigitsME, QRM4.0 and ST®EAM - receive funding under the investment priority Economy. They were assigned almost EUR 4,4 million of subisidies from the European Regional Development Fund.
The Monitoring Committee of Interreg Euregio Meuse-Rhine met on Maastricht on 22 November. The selection of the 6 projects concluded the Call 5 which was opened in October 2018. The call was closed on 11 June and received an initial 15 applications.
